Graduation rates are increasing for most San Juan County schools since COVID pandemic

With graduation season approaching, the New Mexico Department of Public Education has updated statewide graduation data that includes demographics from gender to ethnicity, showing trends of increasing and decreasing rates since the pandemic.
At Farmington Municipal Schools, the district has an overall 85% graduation rate, rising from 78% in 2021 and 77% in 2020.
According to a district news release, the 1,139 students that will be earning their diplomas will be the highest number ever for the district.
