ground breakingStudent Housing Coming to San Juan College, Fall 2022

San Juan College is more than a place for students to complete their educational goals, it is a place where they can feel at home. The dream of Campus Housing will soon become a reality in the Fall of 2022. The College recently broke ground on the beautiful 37,552 square-foot facility, which will include affordable one-, two- and four-bed units and will provide an array of amenities including a spacious common area with a student kitchen, TV/study areas, outdoor activity space and more.

San Juan College’s Center for Workforce Development​ is dedicated to providing regional employers and their teams’ professional and technical training in Leadership Development, Computers and Technology, Communication Skills and Team Training, and Professional Development. Training is also customizable based on an employer's needs.


kids kollegeSan Juan College Continuing Education

From personal enrichment to professional development, students of all ages will find just what they are looking for through San Juan College's Continuing Education. Personal enrichment courses offer an array of non-credit classes from arts and fitness to career and life skills. Encore classes are designed for learners 50 years and older, while Kids Kollege caters to students, ages 4 to 15, with a variety of summer learning options designed to explore and expand.

The Quality Center for Business (QCB) is San Juan County’s one-stop location for all things business. The QCB houses the Enterprise Center, a business incubator; and “The Big Idea @ SJC,” a makerspace. The QCB also houses business resource partners including the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, 4CED, the Small Business Development Center, the Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Team (WESST), and the New Mexico Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

Working in collaboration with industry, the San Juan College School of Energy has supplied a highly skilled workforce for the past 20-plus years. Known internationally, the School provides innovative and customized training for today’s technically-advanced, global economy. Through the generosity of donors and private sector resources, the San Juan College Foundation provides advancement and support of San Juan College. Established as a non-profit organization, it exists solely to support students, staff and programs through scholarships, awards and events.

The Health and Human Performance Center (HHPC) boasts a climbing wall, elevated track, outdoor rental center and more! Surrounding the HHPC is a Frisbee golf course and miles of nature trails.

Arts & Entertainment

The Henderson Fine Arts Center (HFAC) is home to the College’s Art Gallery, which features renowned artists throughout the Four Corners area. Also located in the HFAC is the Performance Hall, and conference rooms. The Performance Hall serves as an entertainment venue for College, community and touring shows. Conference rooms are available for workshops, conferences and meetings.

Listener supported KSJE radio is the public radio station at San Juan College. KSJE General Manager Scott Michlin features local news and interviews with community members, including interesting discussions with 4CED leaders and information about economic development in San Juan County.
