Cynthia Atencio has been the Mayor for the City of Bloomfield since March of 2018. She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1988. She started working in Government in 1996 for the Bloomfield Police Department. She served as the Grant Coordinator and Office Manager. She is an avid supporter of the youth in our Community and the programs that nurture them. She has been a board member of the Farmington and Bloomfield Boys and Girls Club for 4 years and had previously served on the Bloomfield Boys & Girls Club board for 4 years before the merger.
