Charlie Blanco is the Station Manager of KOBR and KOBF TV in New Mexico. An twenty-year veteran in broadcast television, Charlie is also an active community supporter through his service on local and national boards; Roswell-Chaves County Economic Development Corporation (Executive Committee), United Way of Roswell (President), United Way of Farmington (President), and NM Alzheimer’s Association (Board Member) to name a few. Charlie has also served the state of New Mexico as a member of the New Mexico Broadcasters Association as President where he has advocated for the needs and challenges of communities with Senators and members of the House of Representatives in Washington D.C.

Beyond his experience in broadcast television advertising, Charlie has over 20 years in successful retail management/ownership with an emphasis on successful team building, long-term vision, transparency to all members, and executing successful goals with peers. A supporter of the communities he lives in, Charlie can be seen playing in benefit golf tournaments, bike riding fundraisers, and supporting youth events through attendance and sponsorship with both corporate and individual giving. 

Charlie spends time in both Roswell and Farmington communities with his wife, retired educator of thirty-two years, Cindy Blanco. Additionally, they travel throughout New Mexico to visit friends and family as well as their children in Las Cruces, NM and Indianapolis, Indiana.
