Why do you believe in Four Corners Economic Development (4CED)?

Effective economic development is a “team sport.” It’s a community driven activity that truly needs the input and alignment of both the private and public sectors. 4CED is San Juan County’s private and public sector economic development agency and is the one place all in the community are welcomed to gather and participate in strengthening the base while looking to the future.

Why did you want to serve on 4CED’s board?

I love San Juan County. It’s a great place to live, work and play. However, its economic base is changing and needs to change. This change should be intentional and community driven supported by our own unique set of community assets. I want to work with others in shaping these changes for the best interests of our current and future citizens and businesses.

Why do you love to live and work in San Juan County?

San Juan County is unlike any other place in the west. The combination of great people, weather, proximity to all kinds of outdoor activities, responsive and conservative local and county government, healthcare and low-cost of living make it a great place to call home – whether working or retired.
